Our local area

Our land:

the Langhe.

The Langhe and Roero are among the most fascinating areas in Piedmont.

Hills, towns and ancient villages perched on high, vineyards and wonderful food.
For lovers of food and wine, this is undoubtedly an excellent destination, the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature, art and, above all, great wine and delicious cuisine.
There's a wealth of choice as to what to sample and which products to take home, such as
a packet of Pressenda pasta, which celebrates the traditions of our region.

Truffles, wine and fabulous food.

Alba is one of the major towns in the area. Known as the home of truffles, wine and other specialities, it was founded by ancient settlers from Liguria.

Also beautiful is Barolo, the town that embodies the spirit of the most noble Piedmont wine: Barolo. Nestled among the hills, the town that once belonged to the Gonzagas and the Savoys is dominated by the Falletti castle

"I see only hills, and they fill the sky and the land"

B. Fenoglio

Our products, fine wines and exquisite truffles.

The rolling hills of the Langhe are among the world's most famous production areas for prestigious and award-winning wines including Barolo and Barbaresco. Their deep ruby-red colours and generous fruity flavours are admired by the most exacting of palates. Discover them in Pressenda specialities such as Tagliolini with Barolo from Serralunga d'Alba.

What's more, our area is home to the highly sought-after white truffle, best found between September and January and particularly in woodlands of turkey oak, durmast, downy oak and poplar.

Enjoy it in Pressenda specialities such as Egg Tagliolini with Truffle.
